22. Day Castromajor – Melide 30,5 km

Today started with a great view. I don’t know if the pictures can reflect it, I could experience a enchanting sight. The moments before the sunrise and the sunrise itself. You could admire it for minutes.

Getting closer to the finish, I think about how to move what should be the next more and more. The Kuala Lumpur marathon on my list is a little bit far in my head (but I will do it), but it is time to accomplish the Kinizsi 100 next year. First I thought about it when I was soldier, because back then I the condition was given. I had to do the dawn patrol three-four times a week, which was 22 km each. Then somehow I forgot about it. If you feel like coming with me, spend a day with this next may, the rule is simple, you have to walk 100 km in 24 hours. You can read details about it here: http://www.kinizsi.org/k100/k100_informaciok.html , but if you search for it, a lot of blog shares the experiences of this walk. I will be there looking forward to people who would like to join!

Now, that the distances are shorter, I have more time and watched one of my favourite TED videos (http://www.dxnmlm.com/2011/08/my-favorite-ted-videos/ ) from William Ury, The walk from “no” to “yes” (subtitles are available in lot of languages), in which he also talks about a trip the called Abraham’s Path.It starts from Urfa, Abraham’s place of birth and finishes at Heboring, where he was burried. Today it touches dnagerous places (Syria), but how knows, maybe a couple of years later I blog from there. If you are interested in Abraham’s path, you can read about it in details here: http://www.abrahampath.org/about.php

23. Day Melide – Rúa 34,1 km

Today morning the fog didn’t want to give it up, the sun started to shine after 10 a.m. But nothing matters now. You feel there is nothing, just you have to take the next step and soon you will be there. The kilometers are getting less and less.

By the end of the day there is only 20 km left. I will get up early in the morning, so I am planning to reach Compostela before noon. If everything goes well I can get on the bus to Fisterra, at the ocean, at 1 a.m. and I will come back with the last bus. I have to be at the ariport in Santiago by 7 a.m. on Thursday, to get home through Barcelona and Paris, since our daughter Zsófi will be 5 years old on 31st.

I will not write long tomorrow, but I promise ther will be a lot of photos and videos. I will organise my blog at home, so it is worth to check it again.

Yesterday my blog had a popularity record, 921 unique visitors were measured by the system. I would like to thank you for your attention, it is honourable for me that so much of you followed me on my trip. Special thanks and I am grateful for the lot of comments, which gave me additional strength every day.

I didn’t write about the historical background of St.Jacob’s way in my blog on purpose, beceause this has already been written on a higher level in different guide books and descriptions. I also didn’t write about the religious concerns, because I believe that your faith is not stronger if you speak louder about it, on the other hand the world is beautiful, because there a lot of people, who think and believe differently but we smile at each other the same way.

And finally the most important: I would like to express my gratitude, which can not be described in words, to my love Anikó, that she held my ground in every aspect and supported me on this trip. I find myself very lucky, that she is my better half. And of course thanks to th ebig boys, Bálint and Kristóf, who now helped even more to Anikó.

The WAY is over tomorrow, which is not about the kilometers covered, but something else, which can be known by only who went through it…
